Bon Jovi concert rescheduled

MONTVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Bon Jovi concert scheduled at Mohegan Sun for Saturday night has been canceled.

The concert, which was scheduled for 8 p.m. has been canceled as a result of the blizzard.

Officials said the concert has been rescheduled to Friday, October 25, 2013. All tickets purchased for tonight's show will be honored on October 25th.

An official from Mohegan Sun said despite canceling the concert, Bon Jovi did still perform a special, free concert for hotel guests and fans that were there in advance to see the show.

The group performed their full concert and around 2,000 people were in attendance.
