UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) — The Connecticut Sun signed a deal to have games broadcast on Connecticut Public Television's sports cable channel.

Under the agreement, CPTV Sports will air up to 23 games this season. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The network says its broadcast team will include Bob Heussler doing play-by-play, and color commentary from former University of Connecticut stars Rebecca Lobo, Jen Rizzotti and Kara Wolters on a rotating basis.

The agreement comes just days after UConn announced that it had ended an 18-year relationship with CPTV and signed a deal to have its women's games broadcast on regional cable channel SNY.

CPTV Sports began operating as a 24-hour local sports network in November 2011. It broadcasts professional, college and high school sporting events in Connecticut.
