Dozens of car thefts in East Lyme

EAST LYME, Conn. (WTNH) -- Folks in East Lyme are warned to lock their cars after dozens of thefts over the past three weeks.
38 thefts have been reported at beaches and neighborhoods like Damon Heights.
"The thefts appear to be perpetrated during the night time hours with electronics and money being the targeted by the suspects," state police said in a news release.
POlice are reminding residents to keep their vehicles locked, and to call 911 if they see anything suspicious in their neighborhood.
