Bozrah (AP) - A former chicken coop at a Bozrah egg farm went up in flames overnight in a blaze that drew firefighters from about a dozen departments to the scene in frigid temperatures.
No one was injured, and there were no chickens in the building at Kofkoff Egg Farm.
Authorities say a tractor-trailer driver who was passing by the farm reported the fire shortly before midnight Thursday.
It took about two hours to put the fire out.
Firefighters say the 500-foot-long building was being used for storage and was slated to be torn down. State environmental officials were called to the scene because pesticides were being stored in the building.
Fire officials are trying to determine what caused the fire.
