Gov. Malloy authorizes $50k reward

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) -- The State of CT is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the death of a Norwich woman.

Erika Cirioni, 26, was last seen alive on New Year's Eve in 2006.

Cirioni was reported missing by her mother, and her remains were found off a road in an isolated area of Montville on March 25, 2012.

Her death is considered a homicide.

The $50,000 reward, which was authorized by Governor Malloy, is the maximum allowed under state law.
