JEWETT CITY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Jewett City florist has secured an $18,000 "green" grant from the US Department of Agriculture. It will be help the business become more energy efficient.

"Getting this REAP program to help convert their systems to renewable low cost energy is a way of really making sure we're going to have sustainable agriculture in Connecticut," said Courtney.
