Man and woman busted for prostitution

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) -- Norwich police officers arrested a man and a women for prostitution.

On Thursday around 6:30 p.m. officers assigned to the Greeneville Neighborhood observed suspicious activities consistent with prostitution in the Central Avenue area.

Officers located a parked and occupied car involved in the activity on Corning Road.

Beth Sikorski, 44, of 251 Laurel Hill Avenue, Apt. 4 was charged with prostitution. Bruce Bernier, 49, of 15 Beach Lane, Oakdale was charged with patronizing a prostitute from a motor vehicle.

Sikorski was released on a $2,500 bond and Bernier was released on a $1,500 bond.

A court date was set for the both of them on March 28.
