NORWICH, Conn. (AP) — A Norwich jury has convicted a Connecticut man of murder in an August 2010 shooting.

Darnell Moore was convicted in Norwich Superior Court on Wednesday of shooting Nambi Smart in the head after a fight.

He faces 25 to 60 years in prison when he is sentenced March 5.

Moore's lawyer, Norm Pattis, told The Bulletin ( http://bit.ly/Wvk3qF ) he was disappointed in the verdict. He questioned the testimony of witnesses.

Assistant State's Attorney David Smith said there were inconsistencies in some testimony, but that the "totality of all the evidence" helped convict Moore.

Several women at the scene of the attack testified they heard or saw the shooting. But Under cross-examination from Pattis, none said they saw Moore fire a gun at Smart, just that he had returned.
