Groton, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Jeep on I-95 in Groton Saturday night.

The accident occurred just before before midnight, at Exit 86 on I-95 Northbound.

Mandy L. Crispim, 33, and Alexandre Crispim, 39, were traveling in the right lane of two on the exit ramp, while 48-year-old Timothy R. Comfort was riding in the left lane.

Comfort then swerved into the right lane, striking the left rear portion of the Jeep. Both vehicles then swerved left, causing Comfort's motorcycle to hit the guardrail. Comfort was thrown from the motorcycle, hitting the guardrail.

The Jeep then continued back across the road, striking the right side guardrail.

Both Mandy and Alexandre Crispim were taken to L & M Hospital for pains.

Comfort was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
