MONTVILLE, Conn. (AP) — A Montville police lieutenant faces a disciplinary hearing following a pair of investigations into his behavior.

The Norwich Bulletin reports the investigations stem from a harassment complaint filed against Lt. Leonard Bunnell by another officer, and the alleged misuse of a statewide computer system used to conduct background checks.

Mayor Ron McDaniel has scheduled the hearing for Thursday. The mayor has refused to detail the findings of the investigations, saying it a confidential personnel matter.

The investigations began in October following a harassment complaint filed by Officer Karen Moorhead.

Among other things, the paper reports that Bunnell is accused of misusing the Connecticut Online Law Enforcement Communications Teleprocessing system 38 separate times.

Bunnell has declined to comment on the investigations.
