Motorcyclist killed in Bozrah crash

Bozrah (WTNH) - A man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree, Bozrah police said.

55-year-old Richard Deabay of East Lyme was riding his motorcycle on Route 163 just before 2:30 a.m. He lost control after entering a curve and collided with a large tree off the right shoulder, said police.

Deabay was thrown from the motorcycle. Police said the injuries he sustained from the impact were fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
