Pedestrian hit and injured in accident

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating a car accident involving a pedestrian in New London.
Police say the pedestrian was struck in the area of 150 Williams St.
A 69-year-old male is injured and is being transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
11:00 p.m. -- The area of Broad St. and Channing St. are closed off to traffic according to police.
