Police identify Norwich homicide victim

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police say a New London woman was killed in shooting at a Norwich restaurant.

45-year-old Donna L. Richardson was killed in a shooting at Mai Thai on Sunday, June 24.

Richardson and another woman were transported to William W. Backus Hospital after they were shot while on the patio of the restaurant on Laurel Hill Avenue around 1:50 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police say evidence indicates Richardson was not the intended target.

So far, no arrests have been made.
