Seal nursed back to health, freed

MYSTIC, Conn. (WTNH) -- A seal named Spooner was released back into the water Friday morning.

Spooner was found on a Rhode Island beach back in March with a number of infected wounds on her face and neck.

She was nursed back to health at Mystic Aquarium.

On Friday morning, the aquarium staff took her back out to Shutters Town Beach in Charlestown Rhode Island and released her into the water.
