Vernon man injured in motorcycle crash

LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Vernon man is in the hospital after crashing his motorcycle in Ledyard Sunday evening.

Police say they received a call reporting the crash shortly before 6:30 PM on Stoddards Warf Road. 

Officers who responded to the scene found a single motorcycle that was operated by 52-year-old David Oterson. 

Oterson was found to have multiple injuries and was transported to Backus Hospital in Norwich via ambulance. 

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
