New Haven (AP) - The Coast Guard has ended its search for a Connecticut man who had gone out in a small rowboat to fish with a friend in New Haven Harbor.
The body of 28-year-old Wilfredo Cayax of New Haven was recovered Thursday afternoon by a West Haven Fire Department boat crew near Sandy Point.
The Coast Guard had found the other missing boater in a sailboat moored in the waters off West Haven.
Forty-one-year-old Hector Luis of West Haven managed to swim to the sailboat after the small boat with the two men started taking on water Wednesday night.
