New Britain (AP) - New Britain police are looking for two men in a home invasion who burst into an apartment with a gun, terrifying three women and making off with a woman's purse.
Police say Joan Suraski and two other women were in the apartment at the time of the robbery on Monday night.
Suraski says she heard the sound of the back door flying open and someone demanding drugs in a deep voice but she thought it was a friend joking around.
The 67-year-old woman says she told the man they had no drugs and he pushed her down into the coffee table.
Police say one man struck another woman with the butt of the gun then grabbed another woman's purse and both of the men fled.
