Man killed in Windsor I-91 crash

    Windsor (AP) - State police say a 27-year-old Simsbury man has died in a crash involving a van and tractor-trailer rig on Interstate 91 in Windsor.

    State police say the accident occurred about 1:30 a.m. Friday in the northbound lanes, where a van rear-ended the truck.

    The deceased van driver is identified as Hector Marin of the Tariffville section of Simsbury.

    State police say Marin was trapped inside his van and died from his injuries before rescuers could get him out.
