Tribe appoints gaming
eneterprise pres.

Mashantucket (AP) - The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Council, which runs Foxwoods Resort Casino in eastern Connecticut, has appointed Michael F. Speller president of the Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise.

Speller will oversee Foxwoods and the adjacent MGM Grand at Foxwoods, which comprise one of the world's largest gambling venues.

He is a casino executive with 35 years experience in domestic and international gambling jurisdictions, holding key positions with large corporate and Native American gambling operators.

The interim president of Foxwoods Resort Casino, Barry Cregan, will resume his role as senior vice president of resort operations.
