RI man charged with sexual assault

    Eastford (AP) - Connecticut State Police have charged a 36-year-old Rhode Island man with sexual assault of a woman in Eastford.

    Nathan Marshall of Pascoag, R.I., was arrested Wednesday on a complaint filed by a 30-year-old woman. Marshall's arrest comes a month after he was charged with a disturbance at an Eastford home.

    The woman who reported the disturbance says she had been sexually assault by Marshall at the home.

    Marshall was arrested Tuesday by Burrillville, R.I., police as a fugitive from justice. He waived extradition Wednesday and was returned to Connecticut.

    State police say Marshall has been charged with sexual assault in a cohabiting relationship. and is due in Danielson Superior Court Thursday.
