Bristol woman dies after Wolcott crash

    Wolcott (AP) - Wolcott police say a 23-year-old Bristol woman has died in a two-car crash.

    Police say Christina Rafanello was driving her car north on Wolcott Road when she lost control Wednesday afternoon.

    Police say Rafanello's car swerved into the southbound lane and was struck by a van. Police say the van hit the passenger side of the car, causing considerable damage and fatal injuries to Rafanello.

    Rafanello was taken to Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury where she was pronounced dead.
