Desiree Fontaine

Desiree Fontaine resigned her position with News 8 in July, 2010.

Desiree Fontaine joined News 8 as a traffic reporter in September 2007.

Desiree still brings you the traffic on Good Morning Connecticut, but recently added to her duties as host of Connecticut Style.

She spent the past five years working as a traffic and news reporter for both radio and television. Her career has landed her work in Washington, D.C., Baltimore and most recently Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Desiree attended Clark Atlanta University and graduated from the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland.

Raised by her mother, Desiree grew up in sunny California.  She and her husband Joe now live on the Connecticut shoreline.
