During this span, Jamie has primarily been a general assignment news reporter, but has served as a fill-in anchor, weekend anchor, sports anchor and reporter, magazine host, even a weather anchor!
Jamie has been honored with several Associated Press awards, and along with several Emmy nominations, won an Emmy in 2010.
Originally from Texas, Jamie has been thankful his career has allowed him to explore different areas of the country, meeting different walks of life, and covering everything from hurricanes to hunting.
In 1999, a television career also provided a meeting with Rebecca Stewart, a reporter in Roanoke, Virginia. The two were married in Williamsburg in 2004. She now works as Director of Media Relations at Hartford Hospital.
When he finally gets a chance to catch his breath in the fast-paced news business, Jamie enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and their two boys, Charlie and Thomas.
