Woodbridge police have arrested a fourth suspect in connection with a home invasion that injured two residents.

38-year-old James F. Coggins of Savin Avenue in West Haven was already in custody on unrelated charges shortly after the home invasion, police said.

Detectives arrested Coggins again this morning on burglary and home invasion charges. He was held on $1 million bond and appeared in New Haven Superior Court this morning.

The home invasion happened on May 6. Police say multiple armed, masked intruders broke into a home on Merritt Avenue demanding money. Responding officers were able to arrest two of the men as they tried to flee, police said.

A third suspect was arrested May 12.

Woodbridge police say additional arrests are possible as they continue their investigation.
