Hartford (WTNH) - Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, along with state legislators have subpoenaed several AIG employees, including the company's CEO, Edward Liddy.

The AIG employees have been ordered to appear at a March 26th legislative hearing. The hearing will focus on the the company's bonus plan and any other related contracts and agreements.

AIG doled out about $160 million in bonuses, despite the fact that the company has received billions in taxpayer funds as part of the bank bailout and federal stimulus plans.

"Now living off supersized taxpayer-paid bonuses, these AIG employees have a moral and legal obligation to appear at this legislative hearing and disclose details about corporate compensation to employees," said Blumenthal in a written statement.

Wilton is the headquarters of AIG Financial Products.
