Bus accident in Trumbull

Trumbull (WTNH) - Police in Trumbull are investigating an accident between a school bus and pick-up truck near Trefoil Drive on Monroe Turnpike. The accident happened around 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
In turn, 39 players from the Masuck (sp) football team were on board the bus. No injuries were reported to any of the players.
Police say the driver of the pick-up came into the path of the school bus traveling south bound on Rt. 111. The bus driver suffered a broken wrist and was taken to Bridgeport hospital.
The driver of the pick-up was taken to St. Vincent's with serious injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
