Branford woman killed in crash

Wallingford (WTNH) - A fatal accident closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 91 in Wallingford for several hours Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. between Exit 14 and 13.
Pictures from Chopper 8 show a dark colored sedan with heavy damage in a wooded area off to the right shoulder. Police say the single occupant of that car died.
She was identified as Mary Boyle, 67, of Branford.
Police say the sedan struck the back of a DOT truck that was working in the area. The DOT worker was not in his truck at the time of the accident.
Traffic was moving again by 4:30 p.m.
