Firefighters battle two-alarm blaze

Middletown (WTNH) - Arson investigators are looking into the cause of an early morning fire in Middletown.

It broke out around 2:30 a.m. on Training Hill Road. The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene.

 

The first arriving officer called for a second alarm which brought in units from all over the city as well as mutual aid from Durham.

The Middletown Fire Department, Westfield Fire Department as well as the Durham Fire Department came in to help.

One person was inside the home when the fire started but managed to get out safely.
