Middletown (WTNH) - A physical altercation between two female students escalated when 8-10 female students became involved in a Middletown High School hallway.
Middletown Officers responded to the disturbance at Middletown High School Thursday, December 4th shortly before 1 PM. A teacher tried to separate the two female students when the other 8-10 students intervened.
Several teachers, security guards, and Administrators assisted in breaking up the altercation. Two teachers sustained minor injuries; they were treated by the school nurse for their injuries and released to regular duty.
Additionally, one female student sustained minor injuries. She was also treated by the school nurse for her injury and released to her parent.
In all, three referrals to juvenile court were issued. Two students were charged with Breach of Peace, and one student was charged with Disorderly Conduct. Additional arrests are anticipated.
The names of the students will not be released due to their ages.
This investigation is currently being investigated by School Resource Officer, Kurt Scrivo.
