Man struck by car in New Haven

    New Haven (WTNH) - A man suffered serious head injuries after he was struck by a car Thursday afternoon, New Haven police said.

    The man was struck around 1:20 p.m. in the area of Kensington Ave. and Edgewood Ave.

    According to New Haven police, the man was not in a cross walk when he was struck.

    The unidentified victim was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for examination and treatment.

    An accident reconstruction crew was at the scene to determine exactly what happened.
