Bill Ayers speaks at UConn

    Storrs (WTNH) - Controversy came to the University of Connecticut today when Bill Ayers spoke at the Storrs campus.

    Ayers was an anti-war activist in the 1960s and recently was tied to Barack Obama during his run for the presidency.

    Now a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ayers currently has written extensively and tours colleges talking about social justice, democracy and education.
