Teachers have circus fun at Barnum

Bridgeport (WTNH) - Today, teachers will become students as they get a behind the scenes look under the "Big Top" at the Barnum Museum.

For nine years, the Ringling Bros. has been putting on CircusWorks, a series of special seminars to integrate actual circus facts and fun into the classroom.

CircusWorks seminars are designed for preschool and elementary school teachers, parents who home school their children and summer camp counselors.

The CircusWorks Teachers' Workshop is happening Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon at the Barnum Museum , 820 Main St., Bridgeport. There is no charge for registration.
