Meriden (WTNH) - Westfield Meriden is preparing for their first-ever fireworks display, teaming up with the town of Meriden to reduce costs and make their Fourth of July festivities bigger and better than ever.
Before the choreographed fireworks spectacular at 9:15 p.m., there are plenty of things for your family to do at Westfield.
Live music will starting at 6:00 p.m. at the top level of the Sears Parking Deck, with performances by The Nifty Fifties Band, Nate Larson, and Chelsea and Cameron.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy the interactive family exhibits, including a classic car show, the New Britain Rock Cats, and more.
There will also be a heartwarming tribute honoring local police, fire, and EMS heroes.
The first 3,000 guests to arrive receive instant scratch tickets for free prizes and discounts.
