(WTNH) --The general assembly's Transportation Committee is looking for public input today on a variety of bills that would impact how you travel, what's on the road, and what you can do in your car.
Among the 44 bills on the committee's agenda :
The committee is also weighing whether the state should issue special Sandy Hook Promise license plates. The bill calls for any proceeds from the sale of the plates go to the Sandy Hook Promise non-profit fund. [link]
The committee meets at 10:00 a.m. at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. The public hearing begins at 10:30.
