WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) — Republican State Sen. Andrew Roraback and former Democratic state Rep. Elizabeth Esty are facing off in their fourth debate in Connecticut's closely watched 5th Congressional District race.
The hour-long, live, in-studio debate will be held at WATR-1320 AM in Waterbury on Wednesday. There will be questions posed by Nora Duncan, state director of Connecticut AARP, WATR radio host Larry Rifkin, and the listening audience. The debate can be heard at 12:10 p.m. on the radio and on www.watr.com .
AARP's 5th District debate was originally scheduled for Monday at the Courtyard Marriott in Waterbury, but was canceled due to superstorm Sandy.
Roraback and Esty were also supposed to participate in a debate Tuesday at WVIT-TV, but it was canceled due to the storm. It's unclear whether it will be rescheduled.
