    New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - New Haven Mayor John DeStefano met with President Barack Obama on Monday.

    DeStefano joined News 8 on the phone from Washington to tell us more about his visit.

    The Mayor also weighed in on the push for red light cameras at the Capitol, how New Haven is faring financially compared to other Connecticut cities, and how New Haven benefits from the National League of Cities conference.
