WATERTOWN, Conn. (AP) — Republican Senate candidate Linda McMahon is holding a "Job Creators for Linda" rally on the same day former President Bill Clinton is visiting Connecticut to campaign for her opponent, Democratic U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy.

Sheila Bair, the former chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., is scheduled to appear at Sunday's rally in Watertown at Global Plastics Recycling starting at 1 p.m.

McMahon's campaign said Bair will talk about why more people with business experience and women in leadership positions are needed in Washington. McMahon has touted her job creating record as the former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, now WWE, throughout the campaign.

Clinton is scheduled to appear at a rally starting at 3 p.m. Sunday in Library Park in Waterbury. Free tickets are available on Murphy's campaign website.
