HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Home energy costs are continuing to present a tremendous financial burden on Connecticut's lower income households.

Operation Fuel released a report Thursday that shows that many Connecticut households are having to make the decision to live without heat because they just can't afford the price of energy.

"We're forcing people to make these very difficult choices that are putting them in harms way because we don't want to recognize that we have a real problem, particularly with heat," said Pat Wrice, Operation Fuel.
