Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) - A group of Connecticut state troopers laid off during the state's big budget battle over the summer are back on the job today.
56-state troopers were let go back in August, but after 40 troopers retired, the state was able to free up money in their budget to bring them back.
Some of those troopers went back to work on October 7th.
