2 firefighters injured in Stafford fire

Stafford, Conn. (WTNH) - Two firefighters were hurt battling a fire at a Stafford apartment building Wednesday night.

The fire happened at a building at 103 Main Street around 9:30pm.

The Hartford Courant reports one firefighter broke his leg, the other received an electrical shock.

The Red Cross is helping those displaced by the fire.

The fire marshal says that an unattended candle started the blaze.
