Accident closes Route 190 in Somers

    Somers, Conn. (WTNH) - Route 190 in Somers is closed due to a motor vehicle accident. 

    It happened at 2:57am.  

    State Police say a car has taken down two poles. 

    According to the State Department of Transportation it is closed between Sokol Road and Maple Ridge Drive and it could be closed until mid-afternoon. 

    Police say there are no serious injuries.
