VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Vernon police are looking for the driver of a car that crashed into a home in West Street early Monday morning.
The 2004 Maxima crashed into the home at 274 West Street around 1:20 a.m., punching a hole in the bricks at the base of the house.
There were two passengers in the car. One of them, Anna Garcia, 21, was arrested on charges of interfering with police because she lied multiple times about the incident, police said. She was also charged with marijuana possession.
Garcia was transferred to Rockville Hospital for minor injuries.
The driver of the car, Johnen Velez, 19, has not been found.
Anyone with information is asked to call Vernon police.
