ELLINGTON, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut skydiving business plans to link 50 people in the air over Ellington.
The Journal Inquirer of Manchester reports the formation dive by Connecticut Parachutists Inc. would be a state record, topping a 41-person formation in 2005.
The company, which operates skydiving classes out of Ellington Airport, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The club is bringing in experienced skydivers from across the country to help in the attempt, which gets under way at 9 a.m. on Thursday. The group says judges from the United States Parachute Association will be on hand to watch.
Jumps will continue through Friday.
