Man, teen netted in prostitution sting

Coventry, Conn. (WTNH) - A Tolland man and a 17-year old girl are facing prostitution charges after police say they placed numerous advertisements on Craigslist.com.

Thomas Napolitano, 25, has been charged with promoting prostitution and delivering liquor to a minor. The Coventry teen's name has not been released because of her age. She is facing a prostitution charge.

Police say they placed 46 ads in the 'casual encounters' section of Craigslist and that they had contact with many individuals who inquired about the services they were offering.

Napolitano was released on a $5,000 bond and is due in court February 8.
