VERNON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 26-year-old man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old.
On Wednesday police arrested Eliga Bray of 87 Union Street on warrant, charging him for a sexual assault that occured last year at a Rockville address according to police.
Bray is alleged to have forced the 11-year-old victim to perform a sex act on him.
Enfield Police contacted Vernon police about alleged sexual assaults in both Vernon and Enfield.
Police say a joint investigation was launched and Bray was arrested on Nov. 9 for the Enfield charges and was out on bond when he was arrested for the Vernon charges.
Bray was charged with first-degree sex assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and risk of injury.
Bond is set at $500,000 and a court date was set for Jan. 24 in Rockville Court.
