Man hospitalized in parachute fall

ELLINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man was hospitalized after a parachute accident in Ellington Sunday.

Ellington Fire Department said a parachutist jumped and was injured due to a fall.

The fall took place at the Ellington Airport, on Meadow Brook Road.

The man was first transported by Vernon ambulance, he was then taken via Lifestar to Hartford Hospital.

His injuries are non-life threatening.
