TOLLAND, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 30-year old man was injured after hitting his head on the bottom of a pool and was flown to Hartford Hospital.

Police say that the unidentified man was injured shortly after 5 p.m. at a pool in the area of Old Stafford Road. The man was flown to Hartford Hospital via LifeStar.

The incident is being investigated by police to determine the exact cause of his injuries.

There was no word on his condition.
