Missing Union boy found in Ashford

UNION, Conn. (WTNH) -- A child was reported missing at Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union around noon on Saturday has been found in Ashford.

Police confirmed around 5:30 p.m. that the child was found at a home in Ashford, but there was no further information available at that time.

Police responded to the initial report with several K-9 Teams, State Police Helicopter, and the State Police Dive team was on standby at the scene.

The 12 year old child, Jonathan D. Troche from Windsor, was at the Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union with his family and siblings where he was last seen at approximately 11:30 a.m.
