One dead after multi-vehicle crash in Willington

WILLINGTON, Conn. (WTNH)-- One person was killed in a three-vehicle accident on I-84 in Willington Saturday night.

A passenger bus with 52 people, a truck towing a trailer, and a car collided in the area of Exit 71.

The driver of the truck was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, the Hartford Courant reported.

No other injuries were reported

The highway was closed for about five hours.
