Coventry, Conn. (WTNH) - A home explosion in Coventry left one dead and sent two others to the hospital Saturday night.
Police said the explosion happened on Old Oak Trail, around 7:15 p.m.
The house was leveled in the explosion.
Neighbors tell News 8 they could feel the explosion and were unsure of what it was.
"It sounded like someone fell down or dropped something upstairs," said Matt Levesque, "the house shook. And umm I ran upstairs to check to see what my brother was doing and he said he didn't do anything. Then all of a sudden my neighbor showed up at the door and she was like, 'what happened? Did you feel that?'"
Police are not yet releasing the name of any of the three individuals involved.
Police say there was propane on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
